My passion for dentistry began as a child when I visited a pediatric office for a dental cleaning. The atmosphere was child friendly, the staff was passionate, and I knew I found my calling. I began my career 10 years ago as a dental assistant in a pediatric office. I loved treating and teaching the children about the importance of preventing oral disease at such a critical time in a child’s life. While working as a dental assistant, I also attended CSU Channel Islands where I obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. I achieved my second Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from West Coast University. While at West Coast University I gained knowledge about the latest technology in dentistry. I also conducted original research and placed at both the state and national level.  

As a dental hygienist I am passionate about informing my patients about gum disease and ways to prevent it. Many patients do not understand the impact that uncontrolled gum disease can have on their systemic health. I like to personalize each dental appointment to fit the needs of every single one of my patients. This includes building relationships, making the most accurate recommendations, and providing my patients with their most confident smile!
